[Coverage] TOUCH Performance for Men's Fashion Week Asia 2011

2nd April 2011 - Despite being relatively new to the K-Pop industry, 7-men rookie boy-band TOUCH (5 were present) were able to prove with their sleek dance movements and vocals that there were more than ready for the industry at the Men's Fashion Week Asia 2011 (MFWAsia). Performing for the after-party at the MFWAsia, Touch brought the house down with 3 of their latest songs, Killin' Me, Today and Me that kept both fans and attendees from the last fashion show that were present entertained! With their strong stage charisma and catchy music tunes, I am sure we will get to hear more of them in the near future!

10th March 2011 - Salvatore Ferragamo had the attention of many when it launched its highly anticipated 2011 Spring/Summer Collection with a glamorous runway show at the Paragon Atrium. In all glitz and glamour, special guests and members of the media were invited to grace this significant event from within the tastefully decorated exclusive premise. The general public could still catch a glimpse of the impressive show only from a bird's eye view up at the 3rd floor of the mall, as ambient translucent drop-curtains doubled-up as screens obscured most of the view from the lower levels, cloaking the event for a little privacy.

Garnering attention not only in South Korea, One Way has caught the attention of music fans internationally for their unique "One Way Sound" since their debut in early 2010 which they produce themselves.

Coming all the way from Korea to be part of the Mnet Ultimate Live in Asia Singapore, 2PM also held a fan meet cum autograph session a day before the grand event at the Marina Bay Sands. For the lucky 150 fans who came the earliest, they managed to get a poster from 2PM autographed right on the spot!

So i decided to go down pretty much earlier at around 3pm to check out the area out and understand the layout of everything before the big event starts. I must say I am impressed by the way the event was handled, it was very organised. And the fan queue sure was quite long already!

This has got to be my best coverage so far! Lots of pics, lots of great shots in my opinion (with some of the CNBlue members staring straight into my camera despite me being on the 3rd floor!)

Reached City Square Mall(CSM) at around 6pm, a little late to secure a good spot because I had other commitments earlier in the afternoon. In fact by the time I reached CSM, It was almost full house up to the 3rd floor. I tried my luck on the 4th floor but basically I would just be taking picture of their hair. So no choice, I went down to the 3rd floor asking several fans if they could squeeze a little to let me have a space.

Finally I kind-hearted fan gave up some of her space for me. Many Thanks!

[PICS] 4Minutes/Beast YOG Open Concert @ Marina Bay (4Minute Pictures)

I was looking forward to the event because I am a huge fan of hyunah and Ji hyun. The performaces were scheduled to start 9:30pm and I reached around 5:45pm to try and get a good spot. Unfortuately I had to stand behind the barricades because I did not have the VIP or the VVIP tickets. Well it wasnt too bad as I was equipped with a 300mm lens that have quite an impressive range.

At around 9:15pm, everywhere was flooded with excited fans except 1 section: the reserved section infront of me barricaded for the YOG volunteers which is pretty much empty. And so at around 9:20pm, the organisers opened up that section which is classified as VIP zone to us! Woo! Great! So i rushed all the way to the front and got a really good view =)

So here were the shots for the 4minute performance (will be uploading BEAST shots soon too!). Hope you enjoy =)

It all started from this one k-pop event. My friend called me to ask if I wanted to join him at the event. I agreed almost immediately! Pardon the weird compositions from some of the shots, was my first time covering such an event.

I have to admit I was a lil baised towards So-Hee because I liked her most from the group.
